Another small turning and done in segments. I know a few folks that play and the better half and I enjoy hearing them when we get a chance. What better way to show Our appreciation for their music.

A mixture of woods that came out of the scrap bin.
1 - Wenge, Maple, Purpleheart, and Leopardwood.
2 - Cherry, Maple, Lacewood.

Thanks for looking and comments are always welcome.

Nicely done.   Like the connection between top and bottom!

Nice work Eric. So you glued up the pieces of various woods, then turned the boxes. Did you run into any problems with the wedges glued end grain to end grain?
Ron, thanks.  I used a brass pin to attach the top and a magnet to lock the lid closed.

OldTool, thanks and no problem with the glue up, I just ensure that there is enough squeeze out.
