Ford HotRod T-Bucket

This toy is one half of my entry for a local district show were I received a second place ribbon last year.

Made from a variety of Aussie hardwood offcuts and reclaimed timber.

I tried a few different things this time with the toy.

The car is built on a chassis as it would have been with engine, cab and boot as three detailed parts.

I recessed the dashboard and glovebox with just two pedals & a T-Bar shifter.

The front wheels have been put out the front of the engine as close as I could to that I've seen in photos of the T-Bucket era.

Very big wide wheels/tyres on the back and smaller ones on the front along with running boards in between.

Of course being a "V8 Ford" it had to have a blower and large twin exhaust pipe.

Very nice Crowie, but one mistake I feel I need to point our - the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car.  🙃
Great! Love your eye for design.
I think these are already winners!
Very nice Crowie, but one mistake I feel I need to point out - the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car.  🙃

You’ve got to remind that Australia is the land downunder so mirror of the northern hemisphere; that means the steering wheel & driver are on the correct side ✅
