10 sided box

After completing the 16 stave boxes (posted) I had several staves left over.   Toss them, no way.
Only had enough to make one box.
The 10 best of 11 had the sides reangled to 18 degrees.   This also made then slightly narrower, 1 1/2".
Still 2 3/8" tall.. and 1/2" thick.  This made the box or bowl 5" in diameter.  Bottom is the same 1/8" ply.
3/8" round router bit to cut the top and bottom edges.   Already done from previous work.
All Mahogany.   Finished with 3 coats of wipe on poly. Buffed slightly.
Construction same as the 16 sided boxes previously posted.
Some ways like this one better than the larger 16 sided ones.
Easy project as all the basic work already done and leftover from the past project.

Great way to use up leftovers!
I have stacks of project parts in limbo, your bowl gives me some ideas.

Love that mahogany grain and the stave design gives us without a lathe hope!
Side does matter
