This is not my design, it is “replicated” from a picture I saw online sometime back.
In retrospect I would make the shelves slightly deeper and a little more space in between but the wife loves it so it was hung in the hallway.

Nice work. Are the shelves half lap joints?

Thank you. Yes they are half lap, but i reduced the half lap to 1/4inch whereas the rest of the shelf is 1/2" if that makes sense.
That just overcomplicated it though. In hindsight it would be easier to just half lap it at 1/2" and it would have worked just as well.
