The first wood carving I did as a gift to my veternarian that I’ve used for my pets since 1988, just to show appreciation. The horse and praying cowboy is a birthday gift for my next door neighbors 60th coming up on the 28th of this month. The Pepboys sign was a commission from the manager of a local Pepboys auto parts, and the eagle and flag was for a New Years celebration.

I tried posting a video, but didn’t work. The acrylic carvings are done the same as wood, or any other material. Until recently I used a 90 degree v bit. Then I discovered my diamond drag bit. Instead of carving, it drags, or scratches the design.

Great job! The animals are painted?
Yes, black spray paint. Masked the entire area, spray, then sand, leaving the deeper carved areas untouched.
