That’s quite a job. Interesting construction. Why 2×6? Why not regular roof construction and then panel the underside with something that looks similar? Just curious. After so many jobs learning that architects make lots of stupid design decisions I question everything. LOL

Also, were you able to buy the 2×6s already milled for tongue and groove or did you do that yourself?

You know what. I asked the same question. Why not T-111. Or some kind of plywood. Butttt, as it was. The owner liked the look or the " hemlock fir 2×6 tongue and groove. And yes. It was all sawsided. And tongue and grooved premade from the lumber yard.
