I will start this with a little background. I'm 37 years old. I have been a california framer for the past 15 years. I had dabbled in other trades momentarily. But always came back to woodworking. I then discovered the true beauty in wood, and strived to bring out the true grain, and improve upon that most basic of wood. In framing i am mearly slapping up wood. Doesn't matter what kind it or how good the wood looks. I then took a step to build cabinets, tables and such. But what i have truly found a passion for is the miniature and precise. Jewelry boxes mostly. But i love plaques and intricate picture frames.
