Wedding sign in frame

My wife saw this idea, and we had some friends get married this past weekend, so as our wedding gift i made them this. It is a frame that has a slot on top, i purchased a bag full of wooden hearts (too much time to hand cut them all) and placed them on the table with pens, as guest arrived they signed the guest book plus a wooden heart. They then dropped the heart in the frame and as more people arrived the frame filled up. After the wedding they can display this in their home as a memory of the wonderful day.

The frame is made of red oak, then finished with a kona color finish and distressed. I made little brackets to hold it. The red arrow will come off once taken home, it was just to let the guest know where to put the hearts. Here are some build pics.

Very nicely done.
