Turned bottle stopper from hard maple. Painted with acrylic paint and clear coated. Internal stainless steel stopper from SS Niles stoppers # A-301.
The design was fashioned after one Ms. Niles showed me. This one is a gift for my brother who has a fascination for photographing Mennonite/Amish lifestyles.

Nice! It is interesting to see the different depictions of Mennonites; I grew up in Manitoba where a large % of the population had a Mennonite background, there “Mennonite” was simply a religious denomination much like being Baptist/Lutheran etc. In other places I’ve lived and travelled though, Mennonite is very similar to Amish.

Manitario- where we live there are both Amish and Mennonites. The Amish are more “strict” than the Mennonites but both live a very simple live style.
