Torch dresser

This is my Steel Belted dresser. The way I did the finish was first torched the lumber. Then use Brazilian cherry stain from zar. The steel belts patina I used Sculpt Nouveau black magic and Japanese brown. First I heated the steel with a torch. Then applied black magic. Then asked the brown. I used wood/steel pop rivets.

Nice looking piece . Like the contrast between the wood and the steel bands .

Neat dresser design, I like the steel bands, looks good, steel contrast is also the in thing for certain style furniture. Congrats. on a job well done.

Unique design Tim well done.

Very cool. I’ve used flame distressing for small pieces but never so ambitious as to do a whole dresser!
