Entertainment System Stand

About 80 or so years ago my grandfather made a crude but functional stand for his wood lathe. I can remember using the lathe in his shop to make candle holders as Christmas presents when I was about ten years old. My dad gave me the lathe some years ago and I’ve used it a few times. We recently moved into a new house and I decided I needed a new entertainment stand that was more fitting for our living room. It occurred to me that the old lathe stand would fit the bill. The top of the table is the original, rough cut 2 inch board. I whitewashed/pickled it. The bottom shelf is the salvaged top of an ancient flour bin table that my dad had made into a coffee table about 50 years ago. I picked up the iron wheels on eBay. The very old, rusty, pitted plumbing pipes had been sitting out in the brush at my parent’s place for the last 25 years. The entertainment components’ wires are concealed in the pipes.
