Heart = Love

Growing up in Denmark, there was somebody that would cut out hearts from plywood. He would paint them red and then letter them with slogans. Drive safely, Love your neighbor, and hug your kid are a few that come to mind.

These signs were illegally nailed to lightposts, but nobody cared.

My little rain gauge holder is a tribute to this old anonymous Dane showing love and kindness on the streets of Denmark.
