Told my expectant daughter that I wanted to make something for my coming grand daughter. She suggested a small book case and gave me dimensions that would fit in the nursery. I made it out of pine to keep the weight down and finished it with dark walnut stain and spar varnish.

When designing for kids , I always remember two things :
no sharp corners, and a way to attach it to the wall .
Just speaking generally. Very nice cabinet . Congratulations
on the new grand baby !
