I have a friend who was converting her attic space onto a small apartment. She had received a bundle of oak boards for free and asked if I could build a butcher block countertop for her. After a lot of cutting, and endless sanding, this was the results.
Looks good. What did you finish it with?

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Looks great, nice addition for that small space! What did you use for the finish (or did you leave it bare)?

I have a similar conundrum with a "dead" corner in the side cabinet. Been looking at the side over-then-out shelves.
Well done, looks pretty nice.

Finished with danish oil. Thank you for all the comments. Feels good to be back. Had some health problems causing me to stop for a while.
