Large Checkerboard Box

Recently, I was asked if I could construct a much larger version of a checkerboard box I had previously made (see first figure). The larger box is approximately 15” x 9 1/2” x 8”. The squares are approximately 1 1/2” x 1 1/2”. A very time consuming project, but I’m happy with the results.
