wedding box gift

been a while since I posted and excuse the low quality pictures
Made the box for a family friend for their wedding,
This is made from hardwood flooring I have 4 boxs full of pieces about 12 —16 inchs long I ripped the tongue and the grove edges off and glue /clamp together the plane them down for the top and bottom the sides I ripped them about a inch wide ,routered the groves ,glued the sides together and and assembled like finger joints then drilled the holes for the brass rod solid works better than tubing,the top I framed with birch and inlayed the ribbon and made the wood bow
