Shop vacuum conversion
After purchasing a dust deputy I searched the web for ideas but there wasn’t anything available for the ShopVac brand vacuum. After some thought I attached 1” pvc supports to the base then cut a 3/4 plywood top. The top is removable should I need to change the filter, which is seldom because the dust deputy is so efficient.

I have a similar set up, And now that I have moved part of my shop into the kitchen area I can use it to vacuum the counter tops for flour and such since the food stuff goes into the Oneida container.
