Cherry splayed legged bench

This was a project I had planned for awhile. Since it was a personal project I was able to experiment a little with some new techniques.

The top is 4/4 cherry and the legs are 1 1/2 poplar dowels. I used through dowels for the legs with fir cleats for supports underneath.

Minwax satin poly on top and minwax polyshades classic black for the legs.
