These beautiful Oak doors are dated at over 100 years.
Having originally come from France over to the beautiful village of West Wittering, England they had been through alot.
I restored them by stripping & scraping back a thick layer of purple creocote that had begun to peel and then after a sand I began feeding the timber with natural raw linseed oil to restore the natural lustre and beauty of the timber.
The sign was re-written by the fantastic @RuggieriRestoration
Love the carvings at the bottom of those doors. Amazing craftsmen back in those days. Wonderful restoration job.
