3-Drawer Office Cabinet

After almost a year working from home now, I decided it’s finally time to build a desk for my home office. I decided to go with a modular build, starting with some base cabinets for storage and will add a solid wood top to connect them into a desk.

I couldn’t decide if I only wanted drawers for storage or if I needed a file cabinet, so I built this drawer cabinet in a way that allows to easily convert the bottom drawer into a filing cabinet using simple snap on file hanger rails.

I’ve built drawers a few times, but was still a little nervous about the getting the right fit on the drawers and slides, but I’m pleased to say it turned out great. Can’t wait to get some finish on this cabinet and get the desk built!
