Another LJ Refugee
Greetings all! Llike many of you here I haven’t liked the changes to the afore mentioned site. Pottz was nice enough to comment on one of my projects there, and suggested I take a look at this site. I like the vibe here much better, with more friendly interaction among the members. Good to see some familiar names and characters…looking at you Little Black Duck. If it’s not out of place, I’ll post a few of my previous projects. Cheers!

welcome Fotodog glad you made it to a better place. he does some real nice work and will fit in here quit well. as for projects there, bring em on over, i moved all mine when i joined here. you need help just ask and someone will. enjoy the forum.

I was still visiting and posting over there until their moderator (you know who I mean) sent me a PM basically warning me that I might be banned for asking questions (which they refused to answer, BTW) and for what was being said over here about them and him (mostly by Pottz, LOL). I haven't commented since and I only check in occasionally to see if anyone has asked me a question. I did change my signature line though:
After a moderator threatened me with banning for participating in another woodworking site. I won't be participating here unless someone specifically asks me a question.

thats what happened to me. at first it was a two month ban, then became a 6 month ban. then finally a permanent ban ! and i wasn't even there ! so do they watch us here, oh hell ya. i guess their paranoid huh ? probably hate to lose one of their 98k members 😂
