Keyless Drill Press Chuck

I am looking for a new keyless chuck for my Nova Voyager drill press.  I want a good one but not will.to pay for some like a Llambrich one.  The drill press has a MT2 taper.  Looking for something under about $100.
Just buy a cheap keyed one and throw the key away...

I thank the gods I can actually comment on a topic I have experienced.

I have discovered the conspiracy that there is always a noticeable gap between cheap and "expensive".

Sorry B'E', no disrespect meant, but you have a Voyager and want cheap (er ????)... a cheap chuck will not cut the mustard, even on a cheap DP.
Keyless will not work on a Voyager without foreign intervention,

expensive leather padding on the pliers, to protect that cheap chuck

However, you are blessed with the menu (for non Voyager viewers).

I have often spruiked against cheap, as you get what you pay for... I will always opt for the best I can afford at the time.... cheap will work, but when/if you notice runout, those saved shekels will fade into insignificance as the job you may manage to stuff up will be a lot more expensive than most chucks.

Can't remember what brand I have and your availability will vary dramatically, but I know it wasn't the cheapest by a margin,

FAIW, BTDT... I have cheap,

albeit different MTx. Pay for shipping and they're yours.

I probably haven't helped much, especially with brands... but I've experienced that saving shekels bites you in the bum with hassles.... but then again some stuff may be overpriced like my Fe$tool.

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

Have no idea where in the spectrum my chuck falls, but it's an Albrecht (model unknown). I do remember I cried the second time... after the Voyager.

Again my appologies, however, my concern about these type of post (asking for suggestions) is that most people will respond citing the products they have (I am guilty) and often won't fess up to any potential disappointment.

A few members will attempt to give an unbiased response, however, it is often based on them surfing the net.

Now I'm not accusing you of being lazy, however, the best due diligence is conducted by yourself. Take on board all suggestions, but then zip off and investigate... at the end of the day, the only person you should be able to abuse for a bad option is yourself.

Never I have seen so much written with so little information.  You should get an award for true nonsense...maybe too much vino today.

I was looking for some suggestions and then will investigate them.  I understand that people will often glorify the virtues of what they have and fail to provide any problems.  This is true for any suggestion or review.
