So i want to build some french doors for my home office. Similar to the doors pictured.

Now here’s my question. The panel slot that holds the glass, do you paint it before you put the glass in so that you don’t see the unfinished wood after you are done? I had never thought about it until right now designing and pre building the doors in my head

If you dont like what you can buy, build it.

I always do its easy to do it that way

When I made my glass sliding door I painted the inside. Actually, I painted everything first. The glass was dead last. However, you may not even see the inside of the stops, especially of you caulk the glass.

I agree,paint first.
