Alllman Bros are pretty awesome!

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Probably one of the tightest bands ever.  Like the subject said, pure nostalgia for an old fart like me.

Hall and Oates?  They were pretty great, right?

Them and Rush

I like the Blues.   son brought me over a cd of zz tops Billy Gibbons fairly new cd.  that is blues music.  Maybe not nostalgic but pretty nice to listen to.   He was/is a decent guitarist.

Alman bros fan her, Hall and Oats had a huge amount to hits, Rush has their moments w me.  "Prog Rock"

Sadly I don't buy much music anymore.  My Ipod isn't even charged.  I have to fix that!

I was joking about Hall and Oates.  Hits be damned.

You mean Hall and that other guy? 😀

I love ZZ Top, Gibbons is still kicking, Dusty Hill is gone (great bassist!)
The early Top is on my shop play list, Blue Jeans Blues, Jesus Just Left Chicago, etc.

Can't argue about the "guitar army" with three of the Souths best playing "Green Grass and High Tides" (The Outlaws).
Check out a video, their finger actions make my hands hurt just watching.
Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits) also has a bunch of great solo albums. Very familiar sound from that steel National.
I'm a Rock and Metal guy, but in the last 10 years I enjoy blues played by people like Gibbons and Joe Bonamossa.

When we go to Vegas we have gone to a show the last ten years called "Raiding the Rock Vault"

It was the actual Rockers themselves, like the bass player from Bon Jovi, lead singer from White snake, and it still has Howard Leese (Heart), and Robin McAuley (Survivor) and Blas Elias (drummer from Slaughter) ...but they are getting older and a younger generation of "older rockers" (40's and 50's) are coming in....they play classic rock and it is in smaller venue....(300 people) they rotate so they can take nights off...it is awesome.  In April they open three nights a week at the Hard Rock Cafe across from the MGM Park.....It is well worth the money and it is reasonable..like 60.00 per seat.....as opposed to Areosmith, that is 350.00.  With the older guys dwindling, it is sad, but the Music is still great...but a Rock Star in his 70's looks like 100....I think they may have been a little hard on their bodies...

I owned a photo studio and camera store for 30 years and worked there for 13 prior to owning it.  It was Hall's Photo, I never changed the name because my last name is easy to mispronounce and misspell.  The original owner's name was Daryl Hall.....people constantly came in asking for John Oates.....after the first 500 times we just wanted to punch them in the face...
