Being stationed out here in Okinawa, I don’t get much free time to enjoy the craft. This is what I work with though. it isn’t a lot, but it gets the job done. Also I may be a little late with the entry, but that’s fine. I just wanted to post on it anyway.

It is pretty amazing how many things that can be built with the tool set you have there, although a larger handsaw would be a great addition. I think the most versatile hand tool is the chisels. Together with a hammer they can do just about anything, albeit very slowly in many instances.
While in the Navy back in the late 50’s my ship visited Okinawa and I spent some time driving our captain around Kadena air force base.
