I am 70+ and have been woodworking for a hobby for more than 30 years and now that I am "Retired" I can do it full time. I live on a Homestead in Southeast Missouri now. With my Son and Daughter in Law, Grandson and my wife. We have Chickens and Ducks and my Son and Daughter-in-law have a very large Garden. I have a 16 X 20 Shop that is too small for all my Projects of course But it keeps me busy and out of trouble, happy and healthy.

I love working with wood and enjoy turning pens and other useful items for fun and Profit, plus I enjoy building rustic furniture from whatever wood I can get hold of. I will add some of my recent projects on here and if you see something that would make them better please let me know as I enjoy learning more all the time.

Hello, my name is BillO and I live in SE Missouri just outside Fairdealing and Poplar Bluff.

I have been playing at woodworking for over 30 years, never really doing much. I’ve built Chairs and Benches for my deck and cabinets for my Kitchen and a dresser or two. Now that I’m retired though, I have started building for fun and profit. I will post my last project which was a dining set for a friend of mine.

I have a 12 × 16 shop with a wood stove so I even get out there in the winter. I am a novice wood turning and turn pens tops and small things which is an enjoyable hobby. I’m looking forward to building more furniture and am just now completing a quilt rack for another friend.

Well the shop is completely packed up for now anyway. I am moving into a new shop that is larger and will definitely give me more room to play. Will put picture on when its done.
