I build this for a friend whose family are large people. They have broken chairs so asked me to build this set for their ding area. The chairs are built from 2×4s and 1×4s while the table top is made from four quarter pine and I used the extension hardware from another yardsale table I had found.

Nice job. How did you find so many clear 2×4s? You must have gone through several stacks or the lumber must be 100 times nicer where you are.
