the door was true craftsmanship, getting it done though was a little scary ! apparently in india or whatever middle eastern country safety is not a concern. i guess they dont have duct collectors ? i guess he's never dropped a big timber on his foot before 😂 the one that really scared me though is he wears no safety glasses. my dad never did either !!! i dont even make one quick cut without putting mine on. watch some vid's of guys in asian countries, some are 10x worse than this.

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Guilty on the dust inhalation front. I can do better. The rest of it, I'm OK.

It's funny to see that safety requirements vary greatly around the world, it should be noted that the difference between industry, professional and do-it-yourselfer can also vary enormously. But eye protection for a professional woodworker is not mandatory in Europe. That sounds very strange, but it has to do with the fact that the mandatory shielding of the cutting tools must be such that many risks are prevented. Working without approved protective equipment can lead to heavy fines. This does not apply to do-it-yourselfers and is at your own risk.

Example of a sawing machine with sliding table.
