PAST Tool Collectors #1: Ahoy

This is part 1 in a 8 part series: PAST Tool Collectors

Welcome aboard! In this series, we’re going to explore the things that I acquire on my visits to meetups for the members-only PAST Tool Collectors association.

I only recently joined. I met a member at Urban Ore and they saw me looking at hand planes. I was easy prey.

Let me tell you though, after going to my first meetup, I am glad I joined. It was only $15 to join (a yearly fee), but absolutely worth it in my humble opinion.

As a new member, I didn’t want to push my luck with filming on my first visit, but I did take a couple photos. This is probably only one tenth of the tables there, but it should be enough to entice anyone into hand planes. They had more than just hand planes, but mostly hand planes.

Looking forward to sharing what I have already acquired from the above meetup which took place in Half Moon Bay last Saturday.
oh dev.......  dev......., dev, i think your already too late to save.............................😮

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Whatcha talkin’ ‘bout? How else am I going to find things for the Secret Santa plane swap? Can’t buy EVERYTHING on eBay. Plus, not having to pay shipping takes the sting out of the $50 limit; which can turn a $50 plane into a $75 plane easily
Wow the chance of getting a Leamy plane sure makes me think of joining the beer swap

Regards Rob
