Got these for $7 and they came in a nice box. Never used trammel points before. They look fancy pants.
No, I can’t read the phone book underneath it. Got that from Hong Kong on one of my visits around the World. No idea why.

I have not yet tried to put some pencil lead into the “pencil socket” assuming that is the other piece I have which is not pictured in the catalog.

Starrett has always been high quality, as thus even if is beat up dog meat, the prices are always high.

Thank you! I pulled out some 0.5mm lead and tested it in the pencil socket. Just absolutely incredible. I bet this thing would even hold on to 0.3mm lead (if I can find any, I will test it out). I used a caliper to confirm the lead, and it read 0.55mm so not exactly 0.5mm, but I have confidence in this tool’s ability to work
