This is part 15 in a 29 part series: Ramblings from a South Central Texas Wood Butcher

So, I knock three miniature Bluebird Houses together for the Texas Bluebird Society fundraiser auction. I’m thinking, folks are gonna be like, Those Are Cute, but not really get excited. I was wrong.

The set of three boxes went for $46 today. That’s over $15 apiece!!!! Had lots of folks complementing them, and asking for my contact info, so that they can order a set.

I was shocked. Scrap wood, three screw eyes, some ribbon and a bit of my time turned out to be a top money maker for the Society. Never imagined.
