Rupert The Bear

Awww Rupert, chilling after a hard day.

Rupert is feeling the effects of breathing in some “Peace & Calming” essential oils and the stress is drifting away!

I found the pattern at amigurum.com

Rupert is much bigger than expected. I had envisioned a small bear laying in front of the bottle. This version works, too.

I adapted it a bit, to include the CRAB STITCH that I just learned …. Thought it would make a nice border for the sweater.

I also made a patch of grass, using the “Santa’s beard” technique for the long blades of grass. These help to keep the bottle of essential oil from rolling around.

I now have a really cool diffuser, using an empty bottle of oils (residue molecules still coming from the bottle).

Still looking for a pattern for a smaller “sleeping bear”.
