5 Bin Card Carousels

 I received an order for another 5 bin card carousel so I made two. They are made from solid cherry and mounted on a lazy Susan bearing. The base is 11" diameter and the unit is about 5 1/2" high. The card bins are 2.750" x 3.750" giving 1/4" clearance to the cards. The 4 outer bins hold a max of 11 decks but we generally play hand and foot with 8 decks. The center bin holds 2 1/2 decks of discards. Each bin has a relief in the card pick up area so you can easily get under the bottom card. The 10th photo shows the 5 degree angle gage I made for laying out all the slot openings.
 
 They are finished with shellac. clear satin lacquer and then scuff waxed with 0000 steel wool and wax.
