This was my 3rd and last carving I’ve done. I have a hard time seeing it in the wood so I’ll stick with other woodworking projects. Again the eyes were knots that I wor around.

Cool…. a great way to get into carving is to do some relief carvings…also, masks are pretty good too. Seeing in the round is much more difficult.
Most valuable “practice” for sculpture I found to be life drawing. Helps to"see"
I hope you stick with it as the rewards when you are in the zone are fantastic.
