Socket trays

The plastic carrier Craftsman sold these sockets and related tools in is crap.
The case allows the items to fall into a jumble.
I’ve been fixin’ to replace it for years and finally got started.
Still need to build carriers for the wrenches, drivers and a few assorted parts, then make the overall tool box for them all.
It’s mostly Cypress leftovers and 1/4” plywood.

You’ll notice I took the easy route—rectangular boxes with wedges rather than trapezoids.
Hey, this is pretty cool. Slightly jealous of your mitered corners there. They look nice. Really digging the store-ability of those rectangles.
Good and solid looking, these should stack nicely in a tool chest if needed. Good job.  Mike
Great solution, and I think it's better than the strips that have those clips on them to hold sockets. That would fit nicely in a tool box top. Well done.

Great organizers for the shop.
Thanks.
Copy away Dutchy.
I can send you the ID measurements if you want.
A couple of them are longer than needed—you can see it where there’s a wedge and block.
For my use, they’re not worth remaking.

Nice idea and nicely executed.
