Project Information
ive had this piece of an old oak beam that I got from a customer that did a remodel for lionel Ritchie 20 years ago,it came from a an old building that was about 150 years old, this is a scrap from one of the beams that was used in the ceiling of his great room.so in between projects I came up with this votive holder.the end cap is a piece of live edge walnut,i save just about everything, comes in handy for these kinds of projects.size is 19"l x 3"h x 9" w finished with maloof oil that I mix myself. as a thank you i turned a pen from this wood for him.

Looks great, a simple design.

I have done a few holders like that, should use up some of the scraps in the shop.

It's a win when you find cool pieces like that.  You turned them into something really nice.
