this was done several years ago.

Based on my experience, your bottom drawer is full of all the "spent" bits that need sharpening or other treatment?

That pull-out really makes this project serve its purpose, see all the bits and take minimal space to do it.
i love that pull out panel, keeps the bit nicely organized.

That narrow pull out drawer is a nice touch Potty. When I did the table saw surround I had a small dead area at the end of the table under the router portion. I put in vertical rails with slots to capture 1/4” MDF ‘plates’ to serve as shelves. Drilled a bunch of holes in the plates and labeled them up. The idea was that they could be easily slipped out of the vertical rails so as to easy pick and remove/return bits without being stooped over. In practice, I rarely remove them, but at least I could replace them easily if I wanted to. It’s all got doors on it now of course…

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

thats a great use of space.

I gotta tell you, mostly through luck and an overly analytical brain, that table saw surround build has just been amazing. Lots of storage, works the way it’s designed….make me happy…almost feels like an actual woodshop when I look T it sometimes…

Looks awesome, Lar.

Pottz,

That is interesting that I just finished mine a month ago.  I added the DP Pro fence from Woodpeckers.  (just the dence) 70 bucks I think.  It has awesome dust collection.  I really like it.

Nice work on your cabinet.

Have to admit pottzy, that bloody sideways drawer is a neat idea/touch.

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

Yours  came out so much better than mine, and all that storage.

Is that one of those great Harbor Freight Chicago machines?

the drill press ? thats a delta full size. in the pic i guess it might look like a bench top. the cabinet is made to roll over the base plate.

Well done. I had thought it was a bench top press as well. I like even more now that I see it's a floor model.
I still have many shop cabinets to build so I'm always interested in seeing others creative ideas (my metal shop in particular is very tight for space)
