Powder Bath Vanity

I made this for a client a while back.
It's Rosewood veneer with a clear lacquered finish,  probably pre-cat,  but could be regular nitrocellulose.

That was some pretty wood.

Bently,
That's really beautiful veneer. Makes a classy bath.

Is the bottom tapered or is that an optical illusion?  We can't quit figure out the horizontal portion at the bottom.  Is that part of the cabinet? A toe kick? Floor piece?

Walls are rather interesting, too.  At first glance we thought the bath was unfinished with USB on the wall, but with closer scrutiny, we wondered if it was a special paint job.

Inquiring minds want to know.

Thanks L/W,
Yes the bottom is an angled base that the vanity sits on.

The walls don't show very well but it's Venetian Plaster. It was all the rage here for a while.

You put the doors on upside down...🤨

Yes, I guess he did but the man is a rebel!

Well Bently, I think it looks amazing.
I tend to hoard my fine veneer but recently I’ve been using it. With this beautiful piece you will inspire me to get some more out .
Exactly which rosewood is it? Those damn dalbergias can fool a guy.

You'll have to show me the rule book.  :)
Doors are right,  veneer could be questionable.. (Self taught,  Hadn't learnt that yet)

I couldn't tell you Paul,  I'm lucky to guess it's rosewood.

Sure is purdy. I don't think that there is a rosewood I don't like; they are all nice.
