Another blast from the past and that other place.

I'm calling it woodworking, but the most important task was don't mess up a great piece of walnut.

My first time working with antler, once you get past the stink you got it made.

Another challenge was how to hold it. Held it with a hand screw held to the workbench by an F clamp.

You don't always get what you go after, but you do get what you wouldn't have got if you didn't go after what you didn't get. Blaze Foley

very cool hairy. although my wife would never go for antlers on her dresser. your right about the smell, ive turned pens from it before, horrible smell !

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

That is a cool stand, well done.

👍,🦆...

One thing I've learnt... don't play with antler or buffalo horn with a dog in the workshop... they have trouble digesting the sawdust they consume while lapping up the swarf.

If your first cut is too short... Take the second cut from the longer end... LBD

Hairy....well done...very creative and looks good!!!
