Corn Hole Board Set. This was another gift for my daughter's wedding, since she likes yard games.

Regulation size 2' x 4', built from 1×4 radiata pine, (dado's for corners, cross pieces and the top edge to inset the 1/2" birch plywood, there is also a grove to create the storage bins for the bags. Used 1-1/2" Diameter pieces of poplar mounted on 1/4” althread for the scoring between the legs, creating a abacas. One case to hold everything.

The wedding theme is fall sunflowers, hence the playing field. The board was finished first with a whitewash. Colors are acrylic for playing field (that was the hardest part, I am not a painting artist) once flower was completed, there was a second whitewash using the blue and green. Then the board was sealed with 3 coats of Spar Varnish, with a 0000 wool and buffing then a microfiber cloth.

nice set of boards, i like the abacus for scoring. real handy when your drinking while playing !

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment,somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Thanks Splinter. That is true, and there are some companies that sell films to apply over the top for those that don't want to paint.

Sun flowers are one of my favorite flowers Eric so I have to give them 2 thumbs up. I never played Corn Hole but I would if I had the boards you created.

I would get distracted while playing admiring your wonderfully painted flowers.

Thanks Dave. The goal was to have everything included, grab one case and set it up.

Thanks James. It is a fun game; the stems were actually the easier part compared to the flower.
