Walnut is really gorgeous. I don't know much about hedge - when you say it will brown over time, will there still be some contrast (i.e., how dark will it become)?

Thank you. It hasn't turned yet, but several people have told me that it will over time. Not sure how dark it will get, but I was told it will turn a rich milk chocolate brown. I have also heard it called osage orange.
Great looking piece John. That top came out great! (oil?) Osage Orange is one of those woods I'm tempted to try, you know hard 'n' heavy. Something ornery when purple heart just doesn't burn enough.
Even if it turns dark, the colors will still be great.
