Arts And Crafts/Mission Style Medicine Cabinet And Plans To Build One

I posted the plans if anyone wants to build one.

This is my painting I used for the reflection in the mirror. It’s an oil on linen 40” x 30”.

Your measurements may very depending on the opening in your wall where your old medicine cabinet used to be. My opening is just under 14 1/2". I made it a 1/4" smaller to account for studs out of square.

It's made from Quartersawn White Oak, 1/4 Oak Plywood, G & G Ebony screw plug covers and a 1/4” beveled mirror.

The hardware is solid brass dark antique from
HortonBrasses.com. The face frame is attach to the box with biscuits and glue.
The reflection in the mirror is a painting of mine. I placed it on an easel in front of the mirror. It looks better than my shop wall.

Thanks for stopping by.

I like how you cut off four squares and paint them in black just like the iPad stand! Looks similar to the ebony on the bottom especially on the picture but I think it would be interesting to see in person.

No name noobie here

Thanks for posting , may you have a great day James.

If you zoom in you may be able to see more details if not let me know what you can’t see and I’ll assist you with a new prescription.

Or maybe you can sharpen up the drawing with you dazzling computer skills on Chicken Scratch Up.
