Project Information
just a simple 2 weekend project i did about 5 years ago. i made a vanity for my 3.5'x5' shop bathroom with a mahogany top using a small stainless bar sink, base was made of melamine with a poplar face frame painted. the shelf is a oregon myrtle wood cutoff from a slab table I made a few years ago. last shot is this shops motto (that is a pic of lions balls). did you notice guys I closed the lid! just in case the wife looks? although she will never go in there.

Nice Pottzy...the one thing my shop does not have is a bathroom and I miss it.....I'm jealous!

WHAT , you built a new shop and didn't add a bathroom. ? i can see why you need that golf cart now, for those quick runs to the house 😁

Very nice appearance,  the vanity top and shelf really show off the beauty of the wood.
it's held up great for over 5 years. many people think wood counters wont work. ive seen sinks and even bathtubs made from wood. just gotta seal it properly.

Looks nice Pottz, better than peeing off the porch. But then again, neighbors aren't close either.

Nicer than most house BRs i've seen!

That’s some high end Timbers for a shop bathroom.  So you hang that sign in the shop? It got tossed out of the house?
got one between my workshop and my computer room down stairs.  If there is company must remember toshot and lock two doors, and spray after use.  Very nice to have close by though.
thanks guys, the wife loves i have it in the shop, keeps sawdust out of the house. we have one lady friend that uses it whenever she come over and were on the patio. pisses my wife off, but she says, no big deal it's clean !
the sign was a pic my friend took at the L.A. zoo. he said he was going and i told him, i want a picture of some animal balls, any animal. thats what i got ! oh it never even made it into the house, nor would i have tried 😂

EXACTLY!!!!
I had to run sewer and water 260' and tie in under my front step....it came in at a mere 22,000......I bought a gold cart with snow tires.....
I looked into an incinerator toilet but the are 4,000!  I am envious of your set up!  Well done.....

Mike

That shelf is great,  but the bathroom is way to clean and uncluttered to be in a shop.    Have a sink about like Hokiekens with some shelves above.   Wife does get out the cleanser every so often so it doesn't look to bad or stink.

I apologise in advance for yazall with sensitive stomachs...

While I don't spare my shekels with Fe$tool, as a 74 YO, with bodily plumbing issues, that mad bladder dash is aliviated by my cheapo alternative,

Now ya know why I drink out of casks and not smaller containers... my dodgy eyesight may pick the wrong wine goblet.
