Gifting pens

Lots of people make these, this is a few I have made and given as gifts or to a charity (The Farmers House) for special needs kids in Kansas City.  My favorite wood for these is ambonia burl.  I also like the Celtic knot design with copper or brass with contrasting wood such as Holly or ebony.  They can be difficult to turn since the cya glue and most others are thermoplastic and if the metal gets hot when turning it flys apart in lots of pieces.  Although I'm sure others have never had that happen!
Thanks for taking a look!!!
