Fun project: Pull is much better than push…

That looks really nice! Can you give a brief rundown on the process you used for design and to cut it out? How’s it finished?

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Wild looking handle.   Looks like it could really neat to use.

That handle design looks evil but very cool.
Home made handles is the way to go if you have big hands. I never find a saw that has a comfortable handle, I have the same problem with planes. They all seem to be made for small hands.

That looks great and should be a joy to use.
beautiful handle. i agree about the pull !

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

I like a hot rodded saw, handle is smoking!
Sorry!  Just got back on site.
Process: each handle slightly different.
Started with Disston drawing.modified it. Try using exotic woods. Drilled holes & openings, band saw, scroll saw, file, sand, finish used whatever I had left over opened…. Made  Modifications at each operation.  Not into metal, Use old blades cut to size.  Figured if one of marrow long tails breaks ( hasn’t happened yet) simply file & sand, move on….

Looks awesome, would love to see a video of one working. It sure would be more agreeable to a hand. Plenty of Disston templates online to choose from.
