Went with the BBQ Beer theme using cedar and shosugiban finished in Odies Oil. As usual had some issues to overcome. BBQ tool tote with a drawer underneath that flips over to become a taster tray. Pretty simple.

As others have noted, the stash drawer for glasses way cool! Looks set up for sample tasting, very nice 😃

The top floor dedicated to all the accoutrements makes for a very handy BBQ chefs "necessities" tray, tools, seasoning, and a beverage or two to slake the thirst.
Well done,  like the tray as a part of the overall project.   Well done.

Nice functional caddy. I like how it has a lots features.

One thing I feel weird is, I think people here know it as Sho Sugi Ban so it's nothing wrong but it's actually called Yaki Sugi Ita in Japanese. They are using the same Kanji characters meaning "Burn" "Cedar" "Board" but somehow it's read as Sho Sugi Ban here...

No name noobie here

Nicely done! I like the slide out rack…

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

A really nice rig Clayton.  I just noticed the spots for bottle caps on the flight tray.  I like that touch!  Thanks for joining us this year and hope to have you onboard again next year!
super cool tote clayton. kenny sure has an eye for anything beer related. i missed the cap storage totally. and yrti thank you for the true proper way way to say, sho sugi ban, but should be yaki sugi ita ! who says beer drinking wont educate you !

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

Clayton, you have made a butt kicking rig to carry whatever you deem to be essential, nice build. Love that sliding tray, and now I hear it flips over to do more work, awesome stuff Man.
Nice design Clayton! It has so many functions and many different uses as well. Great job!

Clayton, I am really pleased with it. I have to admit, somewhat sheepishly that I couldn’t figure out the recesses, so thanks for sharing the pic with the bottle caps. As an avid griller the tote will be put to good use.
     Again…thanks!
Nice job; I like that wood. Slide out, like in a camping trailer, is a good thing.
