2 More CD Windmills

I received an order for 2 more CD windmills and one had to be done for Christmas. Since these tie up the shop with parts all over the place I decided to just get them done so my shop would be open again.
These have two counter rotating fans with 9 arms on each one. The plastic parts are nylon with  aluminum rods , brass bearing fittings and all stainless fasteners.
I took some shots during the building of them and added them below.

Cheers, Jim

Before boring the bearing holes, I had to face the surface flat so the caps   would not leak in the rain. The surface of the plastic is saw cut and not the best for secure mating surfaces. I used the boring bar to 0to it to avoid another tool set up for facing.

Do they play Johnny Cash, Roger Miller or Roy Orbison?

Smart decision, to complete the paying work first. Nice work.
Thank you all for the nice comments!!
Hi Tom. these are the first two I sold. After I delivered them, I got another job to make some parts for a bed to anchor the rails to the head board. Knocked that out last night. Good pay week!!!
