Knife Stand

I got a kitchen knife as a Xmas gift so I made the stand for it to use. I just wanted something that I can finish super quickly and something I can disassemble to clean the inside of the slot once in a while.

It's Birch and finished with mineral oil.

It was a fun project.

Thank you! It's unique because I made it for my own needs with the wood I happen to have!

You go for perfection even with the seemingly simplest of projects. Well done and I appreciate your contributions and knowledge!
Thank you Splinter. It's not perfect at all but I did my best as usual!

Unique! I like it!

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

oh that's really clever.  The no glue aspect is the best part.  It makes the knife look even better.
RyanGi Thank you!
Earl, Thank you! Yea, no glue was a key to this project as I wanted to disassemble the stand:)

Clever design and nicely done!
Thank you, Steve! I was just tired of cleaning slots of the previous holder, haha.

I really like it Yrti. I enjoyed your video and how you used water to soften the fibers. I’ll be making a knife and will need a knife stand  too.
TheWoodGuy, Thank you! I hope you get some sort of ideas for your own knife stand:)
