Wall Cabinet with Tambour Door

My wife and I have a Summertime shack in a small condo/HoA situated on a lake.  My daughter and her husband also bought one a few years back and began the lifelong process of renovating it as these shacks are ~100 years old.  Since these shacks are tiny, every inch of space matters.  So, on one recent renovation, she had the idea of putting a storage bin embedded in the porch wall, the backend of which would sit into an otherwise dead space in the kitchenette area under the corner section of a counter.  So, I offered to help, and came up with this cabinet insert that uses a tambour door (i.e., like an old roll-top desk).  This cabinet was made in Baltic Birch (for the case), Birch for the tambour slats and shelves, and Walnut for the trim/accent wood.   It works well as a catch-all for porch stuff.

Looks good. I’d like to see it installed!

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

If I get a chance sometime to get a pic of that I'll post it.

Looks like a good use of space. The tambour doors should have made this a fun build. Is that the kitchen in the background?
No, Steve, that's a wet bar outside of my cubby hole workshop.
