I had to make more stock for future sales so I used up some scraps to make 4 more spoons. One is olive and the other 3 are mesquite.
they are 11" long and finished with Danish Oil and Walrus oil cutting board wax.

nice jim, really love that olive one. i gotta make some spoons one day.

working with my hands is a joy,it gives me a sense of fulfillment, somthing so many seek and so few find.-SAM MALOOF.

I keep thinking of ice cream scoops when I see those, awesome wood selection!
I agree! Ice cream scoops!

Ryan/// ~sigh~ I blew up another bowl. Moke told me "I made the inside bigger than the outside".

Muffin Master ?

Jim what is the story there? Is that the scoop size for your Muffins?

Yeah, Ice Cream looks like it may fit into that size scoop. I come down to that looks about right when measuring ingredients more often than exactly 1 tsp kinda stuff, but those are some cool looking scoopers.

Good looking, great wood

Ron

Thanks you all for the nice comments!!
Hi George. I make cranberry oatmeal muffins a lot and I was using my wife's metal spoons. They  are thin metal and hurt your hand stirring that real thick mixture so I made the first one of these with a real comfortable grip and the spoon  end just the size for one muffin ...hence the Muffin Master and I sell a lot of them at shows. These were made from loose small pieces from other projects and will go into sales later this year.

Very nice project for excess wood on hand from projects, great idea. In fact, I've been looking for a project to get me into the shop, this looks like it. Thanks for the inspiration,  hope you don't mind my copying.

Thanks, Tom. I bought a Kutzall  3/4 x 1 1/4 burr to finish the spoon interior and it sure saved a lot of time.

Good job again. My mother used something like this to get my attention when I was little, and it worked.
Jim....They look great!!!!

Its making me hungry...Its about time I made some Muffins.

Cliff.
Thanks Mel and Cliff

Hi Cliff. I ran out of cranberries for the last batch or cranberry-oatmeal muffins so I put in blueberries and still have a few muffins left to eat before we hit the road back home!
